Hopefully you were able to join us at the 2017 Return to the River Celebration last May; if not, check out what you missed in this photo album. This year’s event is scheduled for May 19, 2018.
This community event celebrates the return of salmon to the Walla Walla Basin each year. It includes interactive exhibits, birds of prey, a tribal dance performance, and lots of good food. This annual event is coordinated jointly by the Water & Environmental Center and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in order to provide a glimpse into our region’s rich cultural and natural resource driven history. Mark your calendars!
